Newbie with a project 68 Camaro
So here it is guys, my 68 Camaro that I picked up from my High School Auto Shop Class for $150.00 :woot: I worked on this car in 2001 and It hasn't been touched since. It was a project that was just to expensive for the class budget so lucky me!!!......it's a BIG project but for $150.00 I can't complain :unibrow:
don't pay any attention to the fender flares, I plan on having the rear quarters replace asap!! speaking of that, Does any one know of a reasonable body shop in the san bernardino/ Riverside California area that can replace them in a timely maner?? http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...MYWHIPS009.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...MYWHIPS010.jpg |
that's a steel. What are your plans with it?-Chris:D

You may want to try Pacific Paint and Body up in Hesperia. Dennis has painted a bunch of customer cars for us and does a great job - and not super expensive. I can get his number for you if interested.

Hey guys I finally sold my bug, now I can start on my camaro. I am getting married in June of 2008 so my progress will be slow until June but I'd rather it be slow than none at all.
I was wondering how should I tackle this project? I know there is more than one way to get it done but being that this is my first Muscle car I have no idea where to start. Any advice would be helpful. |
