Another Wagon project- trying not to touch it
I posted pics of my 61 2 door Ford wagon before. It's going to be awhile before it is done. I couldn't help myself and bought a 62 Mercury to drive around. I am trying to hold myself back from modifying this one.

Holy blank sheet of paper batman! That's a great looking wagon. You've gotta talk to Mike Murray, (owner of "StarWagon) you have very similar tastes and I think he's got a 61 or 62 wagon, or both, as well.
The taillights and nose of that car are great looking! Good luck! |
That's an awesome piece. I'm a huge Merc fan - I'm actually looking to swap a '62 Merc grille and lights into my '62 Galaxie ragtop. (It's also got a '63 Merc dash - it's a long story!)
Cool car! - KO |
I for one love the wagons! And trust me that urge your talking about....................NEVER LEAVES!! Give into it and start modding!!!!!:unibrow:

Great find, Kevin! That's a killer wagon. I know what you're saying about modifying it and then watching it snowball into another massive project but all that thing needs is bags and wheels. Like I always say, wheels and stance are everything!

" The force is strong with this one" "you know it be true"
Give into the force LUKE, let your mind be free....lol |
Great car!!
Some day I wanna own a 60's wagon. _______________________ - Dan |
I love it, any thoughts on just changing the rims and tires?

I thought about just the wheels/tires. Not sure yet as the rubber needs to be tall due to the big wheel wells.

If I had the cash...
