rear suspension comparisons

I've been trying to do some research on the different types of rear suspension setups commonly available, and was wondering if anyone could offer up some feedback...

Regardless of the different kits available, can anyone give me an idea of the advantages and disadvantages of 4 link, 3 link and truck arm suspensions?

I would call the various shops that make the different kit, but I feel that I would only get biased responses. Does anybody have any idea how the different setups actually effect handling and ride? I appreciate any help.

Great article, I've seen it before, but I keep going back and reading it again to try to increase my understanding.

If you get a chance try buying Herb Adams "Chassis Engineering". It's a good way to get your feet wet in understanding how suspensions work and the compromises that are made when designing them.
