Photohosting

Morning Guys,

I've started a thread in the Projects section and I want to add some pics. Which site is the best for free photo hosting?

If you do a search in google/yahoo for "image hosting" you will find quite a few.

Yeah, I've hear some are better than others. I was looking for a referral as to ease of use and any limitation issues that the site may apply.

Man, this is a sore subject for me.. I have been with Club Photo for about 5 years.. Bam, about 2000 pics gone.. Now , I paid for this site and I never expected this to happen. I can see them going bust, but not before telling the members something about it first so we could retreive our pic.

I have now toying with Photobucket, Smugmug and the Kodak easy share thing.

Image shack is a good one as well, but with that many photos, all you should be doing is keeping a copy online, never delete the ones you have on your hard drive. Also I have 3 hard drives as back ups on my main computer so that in case my main drive with my OS goes out, I always have some sort of back up. Also backing up on different computers is a good idea as well.

I use www.fotki.com It offers unlimited space. I think I have around 5000 pics that is well over a few gigs in total storage space. Easy to use, upload and share.
