Beware of Flying Objects
I was in the shop earlier trying to bolt some 3/4" plywood to an angle iron work bench I made when the drill bit broke in half, shot through the air, hit the ceiling, and then ricochet'd down and hit my rear glass. Fortunately for me, it didn't hit me because i wasn't wearing safety glasses...I will from now on.

Jeez! You are lucky it didn't take out an eye...or scratch the paint!!
I'm getting older (pushing 36) and take safety way more serious than I had in the past...a little metal in the eye will do that I guess. Oh and I always wear ear protection as well as I'm sure I have some hearing loss already...and I'm not refering to the selective type!! ;) |
I was needing to replace the back glass anyway, so it should be fairly easy to remove now. It's funny that the body man was over at my house and we were discussing the build. I told him that I needed to get the glass removed pretty quickly before I bring him the car. 30 minutes after he left...It's ready to remove!

Wierd thing happen, I dropped my cell phone one time in a parking lot. I found it on top of a sub frame connector under the car parked next to me.

close call man, glass is easier to fix than an eye or paint.
