TOOL TIME , my mock up engine and trans:)

Hello !!

I found a good deal on a junk LS1 which had a cracked block, so I decided to make a LSx mock up engine for camaro project. I already had the empty T56 so this will be a good tool to build trans crossmember, headers fit all hoses etc . I am still waiting to get LS7 oilpan to mock up dry sump lines too. Before I am done, maybe the price of LS7s has come a little bit down;)

Great idea, i did the same thing. i bought a "locked up" 5.7 hemi so i could see what was gonna fit and were stuff was gonna go. Using it, i found out my hood will clear the truck hemis high mounted throttlebody. Now i dont have to wait years wondering if this thing is gonna work out.
