Carbed 6.0L and T-56

Does the T-56 application require a computer or anything special if i run my 6.0L carbe'd? I'm getting ready to get all my carb application parts and am also getting to the trans part. I tought about using a 700 but stick would be so much more fun...

Thanks!

Lead.

(Oh! Anyone got one for sale???)

You won't need any kind of controller for the trans., but you will need a spark controller for the engine. I was able to use the stock T56 speed sensor with the Autometer speedo, and I hooked the reverse lockout solenoid to a button on the shift knob.

Hey Jeff,

Thanks!

I'm presently speeking with Dan at Wegner for the cam choice. I want to run the Edelbrock/ MSD set up.

Does the controller control everything? Is it really all i need to run my 6.0L w a carb? (that and a carb, exhaust, oil pan, mounts etc) No ECU-M needed right?

Thanks for the reply, i'm buying a trans in the for sale ads right now.

I'll keep you posted.

Mario
