Need help with 4L80E
 

I'm looking for a 4L80E, but am not sure what model year or donor car is the best to use with my LS1 engine. Can any of you guys help point me in the right direction??? What donor cars are best?? Thanks...

Thanks, does the donor car matter?? Do I need to look for a specific bellhousing bolt pattern?? Will one from a van or full-size truck work as long as the truck was 2-wheel drive??

sorry for the mistake, it was up to 1998 that you dont want, it is a 1999 or newer model that you would like, because they feature the 7 bolt pattern on the bellhousing instead of the 6. It should not matter which model you pull this out of, because all of the transmissions were the same, they didnt make the 6 bolt pattern anymore after 1998.
