Wassup fellow car nuts! Thought I'd introduce myself and one of my never ending projects. I'm Eric and my car is a 1971 Camaro.
Camaro (nothin fancy): zz430 th350 10 bolt gm subframe, solid mounts, Ca connectors, carrera coilovers, big sway bars, urethane bushings, 12:1 box, Baer track kit, hydroboost, Simmons FR17's. As of right now the car is pretty much gonna stay the way it is until I can stack some money. I'm slowly working on changing over to a manual....just not sure yet (tko or t56). Then I plan on upgrading the steering set-up by changing to a Sweet Mfg pump with remote reservoir. So for now I'm just driving it like I stole it! Here's a couple pics: http://img23.echo.cx/img23/7149/pict01309nv.jpg |
Welcome. Love the black centered wheels and the one piece rear spoiler. The car looks very straight and clean.

Scott, thanks for the compliments. Any updates on your project? I can't wait to see your ride complete! The wheels you chose are perfect!
Wassup Zbugger! Any progress on your camaro? You driving it yet? BTW if you need a rear sway bar I have a Hellwig (7/8 or maybe 1") for sale. I had it on the car for a few hundred miles then I removed it and painted it black while I was cleaning up my diff. and then I decided to get the Hotchkis bars. Let me know I might even deliver it :unibrow: And yes I stay near S.F. |
Hey man, not much progress on the car at the moment. Pulled the engine and stuff went on that slowed me down. I don't really plan on running a rear bar either though. I got the stock 5/8" bar and I'm looking at running a couple experiments on whether I need one or not. I'm not sure yet. Thanks for the offer though. Did you ever finish that dash of yours too?
