Fast xfi harness placement

I am doing a Fast xfi on my 69 camaro and wanted some ideas of where people are mounting the ecu and running the harness thru the firewall.

XFI Placement

Daren,

I put mine in the glove box area, and used a Mil-spec connector to run it through the firewall near the driver's side head. I combined several wires to get that to work, both for the ECU and for my AutoMeter gauges. That allows me to completely disconnect my engine wiring with a twist, click, and a tug.

Jake,

I got my stuff from Michael Browne (he goes by Sparky). His website is http://www.wiresandpliers.com

same here, he wired Malitude, and will be re-doing my engine harness for the swap from Electromotive (yuck!) to BS3. Extremely cool stuff.

Looks like this:

Fitment

Sparky can sell you a 90 degree boot, but you'd probably be a lot better off with 2-3 inches of clearance.
