Michigan Power Tour kick off party - June 1st 2007 At Stenod Performance..
 

We will be having a small get together/ Open house At Stenod Performance Friday June 1st, 2007 to kick of the power tour. Charley Lillard's 67 Camaro "Red Witch" will be the main attraction as we have just completed the re-build of the car for him. I guess it's like a little debut party for Mr. Lillard since it will be the first time he's seen the car in almost two years. Charley and Mark Stielow are going to be rocking two Trick First gens on the Power Tour, so we figured what a better way to start the haul then a party.

Anybody is welcome to come and check out some of the cool cars that will be around. We will have some sweet customer cars lurking around the shop as well as anybody that wants to come show off their ride and check out the shop. I know Mark Stielow will have "Camaro X" at the shop as well. Should be a fun day. We intend on having Hamburgers, Hot dogs, chips and misc finger foods. We will also have some pop, water and some adult beverages for those that are of age. Feel free to bring anything you would like.

We would like people to start showing up as early as 3pm and are going to have to close up between 9pm-10pm. If the weather is good, Im sure a cruise to Woodward will be in order to end the part the right way!

I am thinking about changing my plans and coming to Detroit on Friday instead of going to Cleveland. Are there any secure hotels nearby? Are the guys all heading for Cleveland on Saturday morning?

Van...You are welcome to drive from Detroit to Cleveland with Me and Mark on Sat morn. Friday night I'm at the Hampton Inn Detroit/Southfield. It is near Stenod and Marks. 2700 Northwestern Highway.

If any of you guys need to leave cars at the shop... we are in a very good neighbor hood and have a very nice security system. You are MORE then welcome to leave cars at the shop and i'll make sure you have an entrance for the morning you want to leave.

Well...since I just found out I can't make the K-Zoo stop I'll be sure not to miss this. I've been wanting to check out Stenod's shop for some time. Plus a chance to see Red Witch again....not going to pass that up.

Damn, wish I could make it Joe, I'd love to see the stuff you've got at that shop. Someday I will make it on Power Tour...maybe when it gets a bit closer to home... :cool:

Yeah... someday right? I keep saying the same thing... I told a lot of peole i was doing the long haul this year... came time to commit and i had to back out... just to much going on in the shop right now to pull away for a week or more. Ah well... hopefully i can make the last few stops... sounds like i may have a car or two to pick up from Arkansas :thumbsup:

I changed my hotel for Friday night and will be there tomorrow afternoon. It will be myself and my dad in my red 67 Camaro (Red Witch wannabe).
