that video was truly hardcore and watching it some how reminded me of the 1999 aaa finals in pomona with doug herbert

Did you notice the overrev light on the dash?

The amazing stuff today is that they have to keep the same engine over two races. It is really hightech to produce that kind of power from such a "small" engine and still have the durability.

and i thought the 15,500 redline on my R6 was kewl..... after watching that i think i need a towel.

and that's an arrows, they were pretty much the slowest cars apart from the minardis That's an awesome vid.

Wait 'til next year. 2.4 liter V8's, no more V10's (unless they are rev-limited). Teams are already testing engines, over 20k RPM.
