A proposed "Country Club" type road-course near me just passed the zoning and other BS on Monday, and is planned to have construction start next spring (I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm really hoping it happens!)
The problem I see is that the proposed membership is
WAY out of reach for the average car-guy ($35,000 up front + $4,000/year after that
)
Do these types of tracks typically allow, or host events for the "public" to play, or will this be a rich-guy only affair?
It would be awesome to have a road-course less than an hour away from home rather than the nearest being 4+ hours away.
