At Road America a "member" took Wayne for a ride through the "Kink" at about 120. He said that with a little tweaking here and there (different shocks and springs, etc...) he bets he would be able to run the kink at about 140 plus or minus.
Now I know that these numbers are highly subjective, but they do not sound to shabby to me, especially for what is basically a street car.
OBTW, from what I understand, most AIX cars pass through the Kink in the 115 to 120 range.
Has anyone here driven on Road America? If so, what were you driving and how fast have you been through the kink?

Great too see another PT car on the track. But what difference does it make how fast the car can go through this particular turn? Whats wrong with the shocks and springs on the car now? Going into a turn at 140 is a lot different than 120, man going through a turn at 125 can be a LOT different than going at 120. I'm not sure what the reason behind this logic is? Does this one particular turn determine the all around track capabilities of a vehicle? Either way cool stuff, tell us some more about the Autobahn, did you ship the car all the way over there just to drive it on the Autobahn? If so you are one lucky man!
