And an other one comes to mind;
Chevy did an experimental Corvette fastback on the first gen ('53-'55). I always wanted to take a '57 'Vette (they make a repop) and graft a fastback roof like the one on the show car. Modern running gear, and some salt-flat looking wheels, maybe even make it a targa since the '57 windshield headder is made for a 'vert anyway.
