does big block bellhousing bolt to LS1 ?

I am trying to finish deal for a new project and would like to have "no hack job" TKO system with LS1.
Frank is right. Yes, a BBC stock bell will bolt to an LS1, and will provide the proper spacing to use a TKO. With that you can use a hydraulic TOB (like a Howe). You can also use manual linkage and a "classic" TOB, but you will have fabricate the Z-bar linkage and deal with header or exhaust tubes. Personally, I'd recommend a hydraulic setup. It's easier to snake the hydraulic line into place than get manual linkage working.

There is only one downside, and it is that most BBC bellhousings don't have the 12 o'clock bolt hole that the LS1 has. You can also go with an aftermarket BBC bell (like Lakewood or McLeod) and do the same thing. That will definitely have the 12 o'clock bolt hole.

Hope that helps.
