Thanks John....
As you know we mocked up the engine less the Blower (because it was backordered and I didnt want to have the project stalled) and THAT caused major issues later on.
Once paint and body were completed and the engine went in for final assembly we noticed the blower fit (barely) but the problem was with everything else associated. The blower sat way too close to the shock tower when mounted and the intake tube was such a tight bend I didnt think we would have been able to do it..... but we did. I have a K&N cone at the end of the tube at the drive side and the blow off is post the MAS air sensor so the air is already accounted for.
We had to cut a huge piece out of the blower mounting bracket, fabricate a new "straight" water neck out of the intake manifold and relocate the battery tray to the drive side for extra room on the pass side and it is still is tight.... but works.
Crazy amount of unforseen fabrication. This EFI setup proved to be too much for me so I enlisted the help of IDA Automotive. They really know their s#!% !
Dyno time is postponed due to poor weather here. But as soon as we get a nice day, we'll make a few pulls and tune this bad boy. Then get the top stiched up and detail it up for some nice outdoor shots. Hope to see some road course time before the end of the year.
