I had an issue with getting a B&M "off the shelf" linkage piece to work on an AOD. We installed it as per the manufacturers destructions and even spent numerous hours on the phone with them. Bottom line, we took the trans apart and flipped the shaft 180 degrees and fab'd a bracket. Works fine. But the manufactures directions were wrong and they we're clueless.
looking forward to seeing this car done... I still think the "yellow" on the engine would have been purdy
