I have the Honda S2000 push button start and have spoken with a couple of Viper Club of America members who have installed it into their Viper. What they found out is that you can still start the car the traditional way: turning the ignition completely forward or turn the ignition part way and then push the start button. I would rather be forced to push the start button every time. Otherwise I am likely to forget that I have a start button and start the car the traditional way by turning the key all the way forward. And to me that is kinda Cheesy!

I think it would be cool to have a key that has a computer chip in it and the ignition would recognize the key when inserted...no ignition turning. Then the next step would be push the button.
