this is the right forum for anyone who loves the older muscle cars and wants to make them handle better, more fun to drive, etc. I also do not understand your large front tire comment as a 245 (I believe you said anything 245 and larger is not good) is not what I'd consider a large tire at all. I know that the extra rubber from a 275 will allow more traction and faster speeds assuming a properly set up car vs a 235 or smaller tire with the same proper suspension setup.

It is your choice to stay or leave, and we hope you stay. Differing opinions make the world go 'round and are welcomed as long as everyone stays civil.
