Default A big Thank You to Icon Engineering!!

Been busy getting the Camaro ready for SEMA and we were having a problem finding a gremlin in the rear electical system. Only one brake light worked, no rear parking lights or side markers.

Spent 4 hours jerking with it last Saturday with no luck. I called Mike Schultz of Icon Engineering in Hawthorn and asked if they could come out to the Upholstery shop in Agoura Hills and have a look. Without this issue fixed I can't drive the car and I don't have the time (or desire) to trailer the car all over creation.

Mike agreed and came over to Eric Thornson's Custom Upholstery to have a look. With him came Alex Campadonia (who's a board member here). The pair spend about an hour tracing through the cars system and eventually found the problem. A part of the rear loom was crushed in the accident and was causing the problem. We had also forgot to bolt the ground wire to the new back panel. Duh!

We had been trying to find a complicated problem when it was something simple. I asked them how much and they said "don't worry about it". It further affirms my belief that car guys are some of the best people around. They came out, saved my bacon, and the only thing they wasnted was a handshake.

I highly reccomend them if you need work done, good honest people. Big thanks to Mike and Alex!!
