Dave- Get in touch with SEMA (call Jason Tolleson 202-783-0865) and let him know about this. We are fighting hard against an impending bill here in MA to stop crap like this so they can give a clearly defined db level.
Was this given by a cop? If so, chapter 90 does NOT have a db level on it- and it is left to the subjectivity of the cop ('it sounds loud' know what I mean?)
The Massachusetts Assoc of Auto Clubs is
(www.massautoclubs.org )also holding a meeting Wed at the Endicott Estate in Dedham at 7pm- (10/24/07) - and they also have been working on fighting legislation like this-
maybe you should attend or contact SEMA and find ways to fight this crap as it isnt right.
