Well, as of yet the project has no name... we call it the "Orange 55" at the shop (even though there's isn't a lot of orange left
).
Here's a preliminary rendering formulated by the digital wizard himself... Mr. Carter Hickman.
Plans for the build include a custom chassis, C5 front and rear (salvaged from an 03 Z06), Air suspension at all four, a 4" ride height, 20x8.5 and 22x10" Boyd Coddington "Ace" wheels, a twin turboed LS1, and several minor sheet-metal mods.
Currently the car is up on the table and undergoing extensive sheet-metal removal... it started out as an original numbers matching car.
The car is being built to be driven...
