Since its a street car I want my power curve to be at the lower end rather than have to spin the motor up just to get into the meat of the power/TQ curve.
I'm still researching the ball bearing vs. journal bearing, but from what I've learned so far, I'm leaning towards ball bearing.....correct me if I'd be better to go with journal bearing....

water cooled ball bearing will spool quicker and keep the oil cooler. A buddy has a pair of GT30 equivalents on an LS2 and is making 800 rwhp, and they spool very fast. So GT35's would definitely get you there.
