OK, you asked for it......
1st, I would strongly recommend that you consider some alternatives to the Spohn lowers. I bought mine from Marcus and had several issues;
- They had to be sent back to Spohn to have the mounts widened . They claimed that the delrin bushings were not as forgiving as rubber and that may cause some fitment issues.
- mark had to cut off and reweld the sway bar mount because it's position did not allow the sway bar to mount vertically which caused interference with the turn radius.
- depending on your Wheel/tire setup the lower mounting plate could scrub the inner surface of your wheels on a full turn.
As far as the varishocks the one thing I will say is do not waste your money on Alstons adjustment tool. It's all but worthless. I cut the handle off of mine and welded an old 3/8" drive socket on it so I could attach a long ratchet to it . Alstons is just too short to do any good on a G body.
Let me also mention that my lowers were originally for standard coil springs and shocks, but I was told they would work fine since there is verly litle difference between them and the coil over design.
