It makes sense, as the owner, or a magazine photographer may stop in at any time, and they always want the stuff to look cool. So all through the builds they sand metal with a fine grit DA so that it looks that way. You won't see rusty parts, or stuff with rattlecan paint on them, 1/2 primed, etc.
