Sad day... may not be the place to post, but a guy who did it all and lived to tell it... I remember when I was a kid the Evel Knievel stunt bike toy by ideal..(can't remember the exact name of it but us kids in the mid 70's crank turn and watch the wheelie and jumps go)...
One thing that was neat in my opinion was that Evel spoke at the Crystal Cathedral about a year ago and became a Christian. It was interesting to hear how he had such an abusive life with his body and was even alive, then the experiences he had that should have killed him many times over.
sorry for the rant, but in the 70's it was really neat as a kid watching the daredevil "Evel Knievel" fly though the air even when he knew it was going to hurt.... Memories....
