About this time last year I finished up a DIY turbo build on my 93 mustang that had a stock 302sbf short block with alum. heads and 150k miles. At 9psi it put down 532rwhp with out a dyno tune, it took about 3 months to build and about 3k. I had no turbo experience when we started and with help from a friend (mechanical engineer) it was a breeze. I also used alot of info from turbomustangs.com (not just for mustangs now). Just make sure that you get a good wideband or a/f guage, do a boost leak down test, and do the best that you can to keep your under hood temps down. You can't bet the feel of a turbo and the car had very good street manners. That was one of the cars that I wish I would not of sold. Here are a couple pics, when we were completely finished the engine bay looked alot cleaner.
