A bunch of 1st generation Camaro and a few other older muscle car types are getting together on Dec. 16th to go up the Angeles Crest Highway, have breakfast and then come back down. Some of the cars might be going fast , some might be taking in the sights. It's a spectacular drive and all are welcome. Details:
Date and time: 6:30am December 16.
Place: Shell Station @ Angeles Crest Highway and the 210 Freeway.
Destination:
http://www.newcombsranch.com/ for breakfast (approximately $10 + tip).
Distance: 27 miles one-way with 4000+' elevation change (get gas). Just stay on the road, the restaurant is on the LH side.
Finish time: Back @ ACH & 210 around 10:00 or so depending on the amount of BS'ing. You can leave whenever you wish, so being back to ACH/210 by 9-9:15 is possible.
