actually the shifter came thru in exactly the same place as original! we used the stock console, it just got covered in leather, we used the original viper headers, all we did was cut the bottom off as it is at the wrong angle and i welded a 90degree bend to it as it is stainless steel, then welded a triangular 3bolt flange to the bend, we wanted to build full headers but the client didnt think the cost was justified for what he wanted from the car.
