Neat, but certainly not a new idea... I saw this and immediately thought of a creation from the 1970's. Bruce Crower built a turbo SBC indy engine decades ago in which he moved the exhaust ports to the inside of the V for a shorter and more direct route to the turbo, and moved the intake ports to the outside. There's a picture of it in my old "How to Hot-Rod Small Block Chevys" book.
Still, the new engine should be very efficient from the unusual packaging especially for early converter light off and with the super-short path to the turbo it should spool very quickly.
