I have never painted them myself so i cant give you a first hand experience. I have had guys paint them and they said they were just fine. I have had powdercoated chassis use them with no problems.
to give an honest answer, it might just depend on how hard you are on the parts.
i sold 10 of these today from people calling via this posting! never thought they would be so popular!
