That looks great. The cowl area is not a source of high heat so it should hold up well. If you applied only one or two light coats, then no yellowing should occur.

We are able to powder coat on request. We've had good success selling bare, brushed finish parts as they are so easy to touch up with just a little scotchbrite. The clear powdercoat, on the other hand, can not be freshened. And many enthusiasts prefer to take batches of parts to their local powdercoaters in order to get consistent finish throughout the vehicle.

On the other hand, cowl induction trim plates are hard to touch up since access is limited after installation. We are strongly considering the application of clear coat to these and other parts that are under development. If the feature does not add significantly to the price, we'll pull the trigger.
