Default Yep .82 vs .64

I don't have my TKO installed yet but first gear is lower than a wide ratio toploader and .64 is a huge rpm drop. Unless you want low rpm triple digit cruising or a brutaly low first gear then the .82 gear will be better suited to the car, JMO. First gear with 3.70 is like 4.56 with a close ratio toploader. On a mostly street car the Watts link may be the best $ spent even before the caltracks or slide a links. You can also have your stock leafs rebuilt and rearched with an added half leaf in the front to resist wrap up and help traction. I'd say good leafs with the extra anti wrap half leaf and the Watts link may be a great cost effective starting point for the street.
