If you're trying to be legal for track days, I would suggest making a headrest that can be bolted onto the cross bar, then remove for regular use.
Thanks Jason. I am actually not concerned with the track legality as I don't plan to go there much, if at all. I am really just trying to make it as safe as possible on the street for me. And I just don't want to get rid of these seats as I don't like most of the tall back seats avail on the market.
