Ebay item number: 170186505667

There are a couple of controllers on ebay at the moment including a Compushift which is by far the best design out there. I've been working with them for the last month or so and I am sold on their concept. I'll be installing one in my car. Not only does the display allow you to tune without a laptop (I used to prefer a laptop, now I see that that's nuts), the unit also has a built in dyno simulator and handling accelerometer. There is nothing else like it. Worth every penny.

As for GMPP, it IS a TCI unit. If you go TCI, try to find an older 377000. They just integrated with FAST and it seems there are some bugs in the system. I had a customer pull his TCI and go Compushift. I don't know what's up with the bugs, but I insist on 100% satisfied customers. So until I see results, I will unfortunately have to keep away from the new TCI units.

That leaves:
Compushift: $1095 w/o display or $1280 with display --or--
Powertrain Control Solutions: $850 A very powerful controller with some insanely cool features like boost calibration trim that varies trans calibration based on boost or vacuum.
GMPP: Not sure if GMPP is still selling the old style TCI or the new style.

Feel free to call me and pick my brain.
