I'm not certain, but I think what Bob broke in his Cuda at RTH was the input shaft to the trans-axle. Travis - you may be speaking of a different instance. I think he had a few different issue initially that needed sorted out. I seem to remember that the failure was mainly caused by some fairly severe wheel-hop. I can attest to the fact that it did have some wheel-hop problems. The track wasn't ideal either. I believe they remedied this after the event, but I'm not sure what all was done (shock valving, bushings etc.????)

Anyway, I have absolutely no experience whatsoever with torque tubes, so take my comments as you may.
