I'm with Vegas69.
The Challenger and Camaro concept cars were staggered diameters for style and aesthetics but I suspect going same all the way around on the production cars was an economic move to keep them relatively affordable as well as having huge front wheelwells engineered from the offset to allow for them but no-budget supercars like what Vegas69 mentioned and many many others all run staggered diameters. It also helps allow extra room for steering up front as well while still getting down low.
If you were going 18s all the way around, then I wouldn't stagger because 18s will fit up front but if the rear diameter crowds the front like a 20 would, then default to a stagger like the supercars.
