I know exactly what you are talking about & that’s exactly I bought a 1973 Mustang Fastback for my Pro-Touring project.
I have found a few of us Ford guys here & there. They are very helpful when you have questions.
You can also check out
www.pro-touring.com there are a few more Mustang, other Fords, Mopars, & even AMCs projects going on over there.
I’ve come across your car on Car domain. That turbo setup looks pretty mean. You should definitely start a build thread on either one of these sites.
