Just to clarify-
Is it a front sub or just a crossmember kit?
OE MII geometry ?
Does your friend have experience with installing front suspensions?
Is your friend just looking to have it be better than stock or is looking for 1g performance?
If it's a Chinese MII special hot off of E-bay that's poorly installed then I would say you are right. If it is a high quality kit with aftermarket Wilwood spindles, longer control arms and either a fully welded clip or your friend is a good fabricator, I would say he is going to be right.
