DSE sent me another email with a pic of the clearance specs on a Champ pan.
The champ pan is 2inches deep up front and is level all the way back for 11 and 1/2 inches till it clears the crossmember, then it drops into the sump. The length of the holden from the front to the start of the sump is 10 and 3/4 inches. So the qustion is whether or not that 3/4 of an inch would cause the deeper Holden pan to strike the DSE sub crossmember.
The 2 inch drop on the Champ pan is very close to the power rack, so the holden will clear the rack but I still don't know if it's sump will clear the DSE crossmember.
Anyone have a pic of a LS1 pan's sump mounted in their DSE sub?
