Yup, You can't extend the shaft much beyond stock before you get into harmonic distortion and it will self-destruct. You'd have to increase the diameter of the shaft to be able to go longer - which won't work in the torque tube - so the carbon fiber deal is the only option.

That is good to know! I was relying only on the person who was going to be selling my the carbon fiber driveshaft so I felt that maybe he was just trying to sell me but this reassured me that he was telling me the truth. Thanks alot
