I appreciate your notice. I will attempt to satisfy your specifics. It might be a bit long winded, however in an effort to present a clear picture, I think the words need to paint a vivid picture. If there is ANY problem with your understanding of this post, please feel free to PM me or call. I would be happy to assist you in anyway possible.

I really prefer the Black Face, "Back lit", gauges. To me, I think they are more traditional, and what you will normally find in the Real Top End Super Cars.

In addition, Given that a number of us are, "Investing", a fair amount of money in our Cars, The option of the Gauge Turning, "RED", if there is a problem would also be a really nice option to have in a number of the Styles. (If Nothing Else in the More Traditional Gauges)

I have a Porsche that notifies the driver when there is a problem with some aspect of the car. It is very helpful and when traveling at speed, it's really helpful.

One thing else you might consider as an option is to have a indicator that notifies the Driver During the Day if there is a Problem. In the Porsche it is a Red Light in the middle of the dash that will come on during the day or night to alert the driver. It will flash initially to get the drivers attention, at that point, the driver pushes the light which will turn off the flashing aspect, however it will stay illuminated until the problem is taken care of.

Once the driver turns the blinking light off, it will start blinking again if another issue of the car is in need of attention.

Overall, these work day or night and are EXTREMELY helpful for the Driver. Many of the engines in our cars are $15,000 - $50,000+. We definitely need the ability to monitor our cars whether night or day. A number of us like to Track our Cars which can put us in the 150 mph - 200+ mph range. The gauges need to be able to Alert the drive, not merely point into a "Bad" range on the gauge face.

As far as a Speedometer surpassing the 200 mph mark, I'm not sure what all is involved, however, I'm pretty sure they will be a very popular choice. Most of our cars will never do 200 mph+, however it has a real big, "COOL", Factor. That in itself should sell a bunch of them.

Is it difficult to add a 200, 220, 240 mph option to your gauges, or is it for the most part just a Cosmetic Change? (Dial Face)

Incidentally, there is a universal Icon for, "Attention", or, "Alert". I would suggest you use this symbol for the Light for the dash as it will be better accepted for your overseas market.

Further, the shape being that of a "Triangle", I believe is also a universal Icon for attention.

I think you would really advance the sophistication of your product line especially by offering these warning features. Even if it is sold separately and the gauges could be plugged into an optional warning unit, I think this flexability would be a big asset to your customers and your product line.

With regards to the size of the gauges, the more the better. Each person and their car will have there own needs to properly monitor the car and assist the Driver, therefore picking a specific size would be a difficult question to answer. I will give this additional thought in an effort to provide you with some accurate and logical information.

I hope this helps.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Ty O'Neal
