Thanks guys. Sorry, I'm using it for just generally blocking the car - sanding filler and then later, the primer. I've been googling the crap out of it and can't seem to get a good feel for what I should get. You know, one site claims to carry automotive stuff but then it doesn't carry what I thought I wanted or, it seems to be the same thing but costs significantly more than the last site I was at. Or whatever. I was thinking I'd need like 220 and 400 grit. And of course I'm just compairing this to various things I've read .. magazines, books, whatever. We've just been using what we could get locally but it hasn't been really great. And when you go through it pretty fast, it just seemed like I needed to get something else. Anyway, I got the dura-blocks and I've just been trying to figure out weather I need to just get rolls of paper or the 2 3/4 strips.
quick edit, I wanted to throw in that I've been using 3M sheets already cut for the long board, however the best I can get is small packs. This is obviously not cost effective because inch for inch they cost significantly more than rolls or large boxes of paper. The long board also doesn't do everything of course, so now that I need the adhesive paper for the blocks, I'm sorta shooting in the dark I guess. I was hoping you guys were familiar with these flexible blocks and could point me at what you're using. And also, if you're getting it online, where.
