I have heard similar stories regarding iForged in the past.
Thankfully there are manufacturers & dealers here on this forum that offer excellent customer service. Taking the time to understand and solving a customer issue is something every company should do (in a timely mannor).
It is unfortunate the way iForged has handled your situation. The process for fixing the issue should be easy from the manufacturing side.
