I hope this is'nt a dumb question. I want to have all gaps on my car 3/16 . My question is, are the edges around the perimiter of the hood thick for sanding. My reason for asking sometimes when I do these hoods for customers I have to sand the edges and they get to thin. And then I have a structural issue . I always said it would be nice to have it a bit thick so that you can sand the edges to achieve a nice tight gap and have plenty of material on the edges left to keep it structuraly sound. Would love to have this setup for my 69
