6. Torqued to 25 ft.lbs. the RST clutch assembly is now installed and ready for the bellhousing and transmission.
7. A new hydraulic throwout bearing/slave cylinder assembly has been installed on the transmission. The bellhousing was placed to check clearances for the hydraulic line and bleeder. A little bit of filing was required on the transmission to provided sufficient clearance for the stock quick connect fitting. The stock GM bleeder is on the way out and a remote bleeder from LAPD is on the way.
8. The McLeod bellhousing is in place and has been bolted to the engine using (proper) metric bolts picked up from the local bolt supply house. Check the bolts that are delivered with your package, standard thread bolts were supplied as part of the installation kit.
