You are right that your sub frame conectors and cage add alot of strength but if you tie into the factory rocker that was intended by the factory to be the strength of the uni body it will help everything that you have done be that much more solid with out much time, money or weight added. I am getting ready to start a 62 futura build and wil be tieing everything together. The way I see it is since the rockers are support for the door jambs, hinge and strike posts why not add more strength to these areas and reduce any body flex at the same time.
Nice build by the way, I have alot of what you have done on my list of parts that I am gathering but sine futura's are not as popular to build as stangs I will be doing alot of it from posts like yours for design.
Keep it up it will be well worth it when you are finished. Nice to see you are not cutting any corners in your build.
