Good to hear you've got some of the issues figured out though. Hopefully you can work out the smoking issue. Sucks about the rear end howl. If you'd had a month to sort through some of the issues you'd probably be pretty good to go, but damn you're cutting it close. I wish you the best of luck with it though. well, you're just a bundle of good news..............
I narrowed it down to the drivers side by removing the pipes at the downpipes. The drain looks okay and downhill, but I disconnected it from the pan and had a bucket underneath and started the engine. No more smoke, drainage looks good out of the hose. So now it's either got a restriction/blockage at the pan, or it's not quite downhill at the pan.
