Back in the day, probably 15 years ago, I bought a Home Depot 5 horse and it was a damn good one. Held up to a cre of 3 full time for 7 to 8 years. Obviously a bit small in size and CFM rating for a full on shop, now we run a 10HP Champion that is a bad mama jama! I have no idea what Home Depot sells now, but I suspect they will stand behind it pretty well like they do on everything they sell. I bet even out of warrentee you could return it if you have a issue
11 to 12 CFM is not going to run DA, grinders, painting, etc for continous operation, In 5 minutes your going to be waiting on the compressor. i would look for closer to 19 - 20 CFM @ 90LBS to keep up.
